About Us

The Spiritist Society of the Carolinas which was founded by Darryl and Janete Barringer on April, 18th, 2005 with the support and inspiration by the Brazilian spiritist Dante Labbate, disincarnated in 2007. In 2006 we held the first Spiritist conference in the Carolinas titled "Immortality of the Soul" with the cooperation of the spiritist speaker Inacio Jose de Paula. In 2008 we founded the Dante Labbate Spiritist Library and in the follow year, 2009, Darryl visualized the first Spiritist TV Show in the United States titled "Spiritism Today". Finally in 2010, the Spiritism Today brings the information, education and demystification of the Spiritism, in English and Portuguese, through moral philosophy and Christians teachings of the comforting and evolutionist Spiritist Doctrine for the viewers of Access TV 21 Charlotte Mecklenburg/Time Warner Cable.
